This effect creates the necessary roughness on the titanium surface of the implant, which increases the contact area with surrounding bone tissue, accelerates and improves osteo-integration.
In addition, such a surface is free from any residual traces of contamination.
The bonding strength of the SMART surface with bone is confirmed in histological and clinical studies.
